The babe I was dating back then (and now my wife) lived in San Francisco. Many of our dates took us to The Blackhawk where we heard the greatest live jazz performances in the world. And that's where I first heard Ahmed Jamal. I'll never forget that night. R.I.P. Jamal. We miss you..........
