Slowhand Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 Hi Guys, thank you for making such a nice scenery of one of the most beautiful and exiting city's ow the World. At least that is said. Found two little faults. A suddenly capped Bridge and water on a Mountain at some perspective's. Please see the screenshots. PS: I hope this is the right forum
Nick Cooper Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 Hello, it looks as if the flyovers are in fact not finished, at least in the most recent Google street map images. and the mountain looks fine here:
Slowhand Posted June 12, 2021 Author Posted June 12, 2021 thanks for the update regarding the Bridge, indeed not finished. That artefact of water depends on how you (me) look at it. It disappears when I change the view.
dutchsim Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 Also had the water glitch on Table mountain when approaching from Robben Island towards the football stadium. But what a nice scenery this is!
Holger Sandmann Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 Hi guys, thanks for the feedback. The "water glitches" on Table Mountain are actually temporary tears in the terrain itself, the light blue being the colour of "nothing" meaning no textures get applied. It happens in mountainous areas across the world, at specific view distances, and the issue has one of the longest running threads in the official forums: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/transparent-strips-in-the-mountains/360660 We're experimenting with different ways to remove or minimize them in this area and elsewhere; fingers crossed. Cheers, Holger
Ed Correia Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 The story of the unfinished bridge. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreshore_Freeway_Bridge
SGunard Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 And I thought we were bad at infrastructure planning here in the UK!
