makapala Posted July 10, 2020 Share Posted July 10, 2020 Built for the Llangollen Canal in 1805, the aqueduct is over 1000ft long and 120ft above the River Dee. Engineer was Thomas Telford. There's no railings on one side, so cruising a boat over it can be tricky if you suffer from vertigo.
