On the Kapiti Coast is Paraparaumu. Famous film director Peter Jackson attended the Kapiti College in town. Andrew Niccol is also from Paraparaumu. 7. Crossing the coast at Tangimoana. A small population of 200 lives in the area which is known for those seeking an alternative lifestyle. 8. Looking along the coast towards Whanganui.
