Sea is made of grass and textures are leaking into it

Recommended Posts

Hello

My ORBX England is acting weird. the Sea textures that are loaded are made of grass and on the coastline, the earth texture has leaked over.

When I disable the file shown in the image, the problem is solved but the airports act weird.

Please help!

Thanks

Hi

Also, please uninstall the Orbx Libs from the external library folder and install them to the simulator root ORBX folder.

Is that a general recommendation? If yes, why does Orbx Central offer the possibility to install it into a library?

thank you

regards

Sebastian

It is if you are having issues, for some reason not all are having issues of this nature....but seeing as how it is part of the Global base installation and Global base can not be installed outside the simulator folder, it only makes sense to install the Orbx Libraries in the same location.

Maybe if you do not have Global base installed the Orbx Libs will work just fine in the external library configuration, but that is just a theory of mine and not tested.

I moved it into the root p3d folder and it did nothing

Thanks.

I see in it and in your previous image that you need to reset the insertion point so that your open LC products are below

your airports and regions. I see also that EU England is not presently in the scenery library.

ill try that now see if it fixes the problem.

What do the files of EU England look like?

You don't seem to have any regions installed.

Or are they installed using the add-ons method?

Should I try migrating to the Library? I just really need to fix this. It was all fine up until a few weeks ago where I modded my texture folder then deleted it and used content and client repair tools to replace it. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. I have tried doing the P3D setup repair and ''Delete Generated Files'' shortcut.

Thanks, then it should appear in the scenery.cfg file but apparently does not.

Can you first do this:

1. Delete (Your P3D root folder)\Scenery\BASE\Scenery\lclookup.bgl.

2. Delete C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\terrain.cfg

3. Run P3D v4 once, which will replace the file with a default version,

then close P3D v4 again.

Then run Verify Files for each of your products and the Orbx Libraries,

then run Sync Simulator.

That should effectively fix all the Orbx products, so then try P3D v4 again.

Hello

After doing that, P3D wont start up. It gets to scenario selection screen then shuts off completely

Got the sim to start again. I followed these steps and the issue has been resolved :)
