jotaedo
I'm having some more time to make a few flights,. this time i'm moving back to airports/airfields than i didn't own at the time of the original series and/or i liked so much that i'm going again through them. so last time i left the Pipér Seminole parked at the dark/cold like rock platform of Bar Harbour and I decided to take a commercial flight back... This is Cape air flight 88 headed to Boston Logan, main hub to cape flap 1 set for departure rwy 35 H intersection up! up and away! climbing, steady as she goes some random cruise shots, WX is much better this time Boston In sigth, thanks to the really friendly ATC at Boston, great service After afew vectors we are cleared to intercept the LLZ, ILS app Rwy 27 and leaving Boston to Nantucket, this time as KAP 5341, positive climb! gears up! climb on rwy heading until 3000 starting the Great Point visual app to rwy 24 quite high to be honest but managed to put my plane in the right course and glide path (who doesn't like a good hand flown ILS app?) some of you may know the Wings series right? (check this: in case you dont know about the series ) plane parked and smoking a cigarette from this small corner of the airfield and after a brief walk to the ACK executive apron, there she is (the lady in red with a couple of turbofans) lift off! , rocketing out of the rwy 24 initial climb to 2000, then direct to Sandy Point- goodbye Nantucket Goodbye Block Island and flying the VOR/DME rwy 22L at JFK that's all by now. Next destination is quite far so a large Jetliner will be required to get there stay tuned and don't forget to visit the previous episode.
