TigerTigerM
Located v4 of the Dave Garwood DH-89A & can start installing Jankees repaints for it now. From the repaint: "DH-89A OO-AFG (cn 6458) was registered to Avions Fairey SA at Gosselies on 27 February 1958. After a spell with Air Affairs the machine was reregistered OO-CNP on 10 April 1964 and later ended up at the Royal Army Museum at Brussels where it is now being restored in its original British c/s wearing registration G-AKNV. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Dave Garwood. " These shots are leaving Popham, set in Spring. The 89A has an 'art deco' feel to it, IMHO. It looks like a bus with wings. Some planes are just, well, different.

Some planes are just, well, different. Perhaps that is because it is...well...a bus with wings? Aren't all passenger aircraft? And while it was designed in 1934, they were used by numerous airlines and the military into the '60's and quite a few are still operational, doing commercial tourist flights. Not bad for a bus I think. Nice shots btw!
