KLM 553 from Amsterdam to Cairo. Left EHAM under a steady rain and cloud cover up to about 9,000 and a solid deck until the Balkans, so not much to show until then. Hand flew it up through most of the SID. She's really smooth, but heavy even with a fairly light fuel load. Finally really cleared up on reaching Greece. I really love flying around Greece (usually in a prop-liner!). I'd make a great region for ORBX. Day starting to fade after reaching Turkey. Turing onto base over Cairo. Not much to see at the airport. Just your default scenery. Taxing in to gate. Fun way to spend a few hours on a still cold Mid-Atlantic March Sunday!
