Patagonia's FitzRoy

Many still remember the excellent sceneries we once got from Frank Danese, such as Monument Valley or Devil’s Tower. He also did outside of ORBX among other sceneries Patagonia's Cerre Torre (3128 mtr) and FitzRoy (3405 mtr), which must be some of the most spectacular mountain formations I have ever seen. Located at the Chilean/Argentinian border, they are also some of the most remote places you can visit. This photoscenery sits on top of FTX Global and Global Ultimate as mesh.

I have departed from a small airfield called El Calafate and head North-West

Some thirty minutes into the flight I get close to my target destination

You will not believe it, but during this flight I have hit the “V” key around 200x. The hardest part was, which pictures to select

Hi guys!

El Calafate / Glaciar Perito Moreno / El Chaltén / Mt. Fitz Roy are some of the most awesome places on the world.

Please google "Glaciar Perito Moreno" and "Fitz Roy".

I really dream with have a ORBX quality scenery from some South American places. I have big expectations about openLC South America but I think that a scenery based on this places must be great.

Outstanding video!  I loved watching it, and either he was low or he was at altitude and the mountains are very high!

Truly magnificent shotz! Amazing how you could narrow your choice down on so few!

Thanks Erik, some of the others will serve now as my wallpapers ;)

Those are gorgeous!  I don't have any of the sceneries you mention, but hopefully OpenLC South America will do those locations justice! :)

Thank you Blackbird7, I hope so too

Yes Argentina/Chile will be wonderful places to explore in ORBX and are in real life. Outstanding work by  Frank Danese and excellent shots.

Wow! all very nice - love those mountain shots. I know what you mean about picking the shots to post - I have the same problem.

Many thanks, Brian, Iain and Magic1

Staggering shots Bernd and great narrative.  I never even knew this place existed until now!  And the detail of those mountains!  No wonder you hit the V key so many times, I would too!  (But I'd be inverted )

Thanks a lot, Jack. I was actually thinking of doing one inverted shot for you. But then I thought, this is your specialty and who knows, maybe I would have fallen out of the cockpit :)

My specialty!   Thanks Bernd.  A plane like that you might have if you didn't have your belts on.

When I was in Idaho flying my friend's biplane we strapped in but our seat cushion was our parachute!
