But it happens that the chosen day, winds were blowing 200 at 16G31 in Anacortes, and 170 degree at 20G26 in Darrington, for a 70 degree crosswind with a 40 ft wide runway. With the PA-34 not much margin of manoeuver. It's an interesting flight since you arrive right on runway 10 in the valley at Darrington, and have plenty of time to prepare for the crosswind arrival.
