vbazillio
Let's make a thorough preflight check. My favorite C172 (from A2A) witht the real N4975F, normaly based @KMYF Montgomery field closed to San Diego Catalina (KAVX) free scenery by Aerosoft Holding Point 04. Engine test. Power Set... Speed alive... and the runway disapeared, like in real. Better trust in UNICOM to not have an opposite trafic taking of ;-) Top view from Prepar3D v3 and the freeware aerosoft scenery ... and lift off ! ... Initial climb... keep concentrate... and don't forget to keep the runway track ! My Foreflight (iPad Navigation app) is connected to my Prepar3D v3. Time to practice. Look at other IA trafic reported and displayed by Foreflight. Crossing water and the weather - as expected - the ceiling is descending... so do I before reaching the coastline. Great cloud and water textures by REX4 Texture Direct Real time weather displayed by Foreflight... in sync with what I see and what generate Active Sky Next Approaching Mount Soledad (VFR Reporting point : VPSMS). San Diego in the background. Can't wait for FTX NA Southern California ! Long final runway 10R at Montgomery Field (KMYF). I never land in real on 10 (nor R or L). The most common are 28. Nevermind, Prepar3D ATC says 10R, let's make the 10R. The scenery is freeware Orbx NA airport of Park at Gibbs/Plus One apron
