Milford Haven - P3Dv3.0

Recommended Posts

So another 2 regions have now been released in P3Dv3.0 and after an overnight download it is time to install and try them out.

With all the scenic beauty of Wales with it's spectacular mountainous terrain in the north and south it was only natural that I would fly from Haverfordwest and inspect the industrial area of Milford Haven.

Taking off into a 22knt head wind the Cub needed next to no runway. I thought there was something wrong as it was actually being blown backwards on the runway and as I was on the other computer I had left the plane unattended.

The first industrial complex comes into view at Waterston.

Valerow Refinery at Rhoscrowther. Heading into the wind the Cub is making slow progress.

The Pembrooke Oil Gas jetty.

Milford Haven and the South Hook LNG facility.

Just cruisin in the J-3 Martyn, very cool!

Maybe not the right plane when the wind blows you backwards on the runway, I should be more attentive. Love the Cub.
