Trying to meet Martyn

Stillwater

... as he said he was spending the weekend in England (which is quite a way from Mooroopna...), with a stopover in Southampton http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/100650-to-the-hot-southern-coast/. So I just had to hop over from the Isle of Wight, I thought. But, for sure, not the direct way as the penguin flies.

Grand set Gerold.

Some very familiar places and great memories from the past in your set.

I arrived in Australia 34 years today so if you had been at Southampton (Eastleigh) 34 years and 2 days ago you could have dropped in to Selwyn Gardens and had a cup of tea!

No way Martyn, the first time I was in UK was 33 years ago, so we missed each other. I was near Bigmingham with a sports team, and I swear we did not have a sense for cups of tea...  >:D

Marvelous set of shots Gerold.

A fantastic set!

Thank you both!

Tea or a pint ??? , 33 years ago I know what I would have been drinking .:blink::wacko::P -- BTW I enjoyed your trip , even if Martyn was a no show .

Cheers

Brad

Indeed Brad, those were the days when I learned what a pint is. You know Germans drink in metric scales.
