another simple way of turning off Asobo airports is to use the Lorby MSFS Addon Organiser tool & just double click the particular airport within the Lorby interface list - it will turn red & be deactivated. works well.

Rob, i must also say that Alpha India Group have a highly regarded AI Traffic package which is currently $free & in beta - tricky to install, what i described in my previous post is a super simple 'one-click' solution, enjoy flying with P3Dv5!

@Rob Abernathy, just deploying AI Traffic myself, in P3Dv5 have chosen Traffic Global from Just Flight v1.1.15 - get lots of traffic - Airliner & GA, it is in active development - recent news on forum, also, deployed AI Lights Reborn Pro - which adds some special effects immersion - dawn AI flights are spectacular when hovering with heli around airport, & just deployed Super Traffic Board P3Dv5 - fantastic immersion enhancer - shows what is going on with AI flights.

thank you for being clear, JV many of us are looking for IRL - yet you explain the restraints, well... even tho' many are excited with upcoming developments in the flight sim world, personally, Google Earth VR just about has it covered (within its own context)! along with our myriad of $paid for addons... (& with Rift S - lol)

hi @Mawson, you seem to have embedded your comments into a previous quote of mine... i am having a great time with the new Nimbus UH-1H, particularly in True Earth regions - works really well in VR! we can only hope for some Orbx treatment for DCS - a dream at the moment...

i'm afraid that real world heli experience is out of my reach - capacity, age & $$$s it is truly wonderful tho', - the DCS flight sim performance - & i am heartened by your experienced comments about the DCS Huey - my first DCS heli - & deliberately took it for another spin this arvo in Rift S VR - amazing! guess we'll have to wait for any? Orbx potential DCS development news... ...

thanks for your suggestion... i'll stick with the 3 helis i have chosen - getting particularly good results with the Mi8 at the moment...

lovin' the DCS helis, i chose the Huey, the Black Shark & Mi8 - hundreds of hours of study ahead of me... you cannot fake some serious heli mission flying - & i am probably years away from multiplayer... the latest Rift S (software & firmware updates) is mind blowing!

it sure would be interesting if an Orbx representative could give us an inkling of Orbx’s interest for any form of DCS World development... a yay a maybe, or no way DCS deploys clearly superior technology in many flight sim 2019 performance aspects & is a dream in VR (with Rift S in my initial experience)... just putting the direct question - any Orbx response?

first impressions of DCS:- absolutely zero flight stutters & wonderful VR experience & immersion - right out of the box... feels really stable & very well programmed... a real bonus that you can try it for absolutely $free... & some official Orbx development/future support news would be most welcome - here's hoping...
