  1. This is at the Grass Valley airport, KGOO, in Nevada County California. First time I have seen this airport building. Note the sweepers. Must be sweeping up turkey feathers. May have been a prop strike, but it wasn't me.
  2. This is the Golden Age Simulations Super Ryan above Lake Shasta in Northern California.
  3. Thanks to all. Merry Christmas too.
  4. Do you get that with different airplanes and/or in different areas?
  5. I'm using Rex Sky Force. I had it in FSX and earlier versions of P3D. I though I might have to redownload it when I went to v6, but Sky Force found the v6 installation on its own and runs without any problems. The weather in southern Oregon has been really changeable this December, mostly cloudy, rainy, and unseasonably warm. But yesterday when I took this screen shot the weather was nearly clear. I was never complexly satisfied with the clouds with Rex, but in P3D6.18 LM added a lot more contrast to the clouds so they display with more range between light and dark. They really look good, but I think that has more to do with LM than with Rex.
  6. About 10 miles north of Klamath Falls, Oregon, the week before Christmas. Mt. Shasta just to the right of the rudder. KLMT just off the image to the left.
  7. Downloaded and installed with no problem. It asks about halfway through if you want to deactivate the old P3D6 installation which I did.. I had some problems activating the new installation. It turns out there is a different license for P3D5 and P3D6. I did not have the P3D6 license but eventfully found it on the LMp3d website. This P3D6.18 version looks still better than the previous version and seems to run better also. P3D continues to improve.
  8. I keep bloom turned off most of the time. Generally speaking V6 is a worthwhile improvement over v5. I have moved over a terabyte of mostly Orbx scenery over to v6 with not too much difficulty. No problem moving aircraft over. The worse problem I have had moving Orbx over to v6 has been in True Earth areas with some elevation issues and some missing terminal buildings. Seems like those would be simple fixes if someone is actually working on them.
  9. Is there a good J3 Cub in MSFS?
  10. I mostly have A2A and Carenado aircraft and so far have had no problem just reinstalling them in P3D6.
  11. The water looks better than in later versions of P3D.
  12. It all looks better in P3D6 than in P3D5, both the Orbx areas and the non Orbx areas and it seems to run a little bit better. So far I don't have any problems with Orbx pay ware or freeware airports. So far there are just a few problems with elevations and terminal buildings in True Earth areas But, I continue to explore. Chances are I will eventually delete P3D5, depending on what Orbx does going forward.
  13. Another problem is missing terminal buildings in the True Earth areas. This problem is at larger airports that are not Orbx pay ware airports such as Portland, Oregon and Fresno, California. They display as jetways not connected to any building.
  14. The main problem I'm having now with P3D6 and Orbx True Earth, at least with Oregon True Earth is elevation errors in several places. Its not everywhere, but so far in three or four places with floating houses and trees.
  15. This is a flight from Salem, Oregon to Madras Oregon, about half way there. Altitude about 9,000 feet puttering along at 90 mph in the Cub.
