  1. LM recommends a complete reinstallation of P3D 5.3 but before proceeding you would need to know if the Orbx products are all compatible with this Ver. 5.3 starting with Orbx ObjectFlow. It would be appreciated if Orbx gave an answer regarding the compatibility of its products to wait to install P3D 5.3 pending any updates of its products.

Hello Nick, If these videos disturb you you have every right to delete this post of mine too if I don't share your opinion why I don't know that nobody "voluntarily" put that pigeon on top of the engine of that plane taking off forced him to stay all that time in that position I can think that that was a pigeon ... suicide!   7. One of the causes of VRAM consumption depends on the setting in World - Terrain - Level of detail radius. P3D 5 with this parameter loads the texture of the ground even for many hundreds km which can be seen flying at altitude with clear sky but in reality it is rare to see the ground in flight 400/500 km from the plane. I found that with Level of detail radius set to Medium and a maximum visibility of 100 km in ASP3D the loaded textures are sufficient to not have blurs and I have verified that the use of VRAM drops between 0.7 and 1 GB.

  11. Hi Marcus, As for Orbx KSAN you can try the free modification of IniBuilds made for Dynamic Light of many pay airports including some Orbx airports such as KSAN. As for Orbx KSAN with this modification, remember to disable Dynamic light in KSAN configure with Central. To me with this modification the fps have increased and to KSAN and the illuminated surface has also increased of parking lots. This includes support for DirectX Raytracing (DXR) version 1.1 as well as support for mesh shaders, sampler feedback, and variable-rate shading (VRS). Additionally, this driver supports Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling when used with the Windows 10 May 2020 Update.

  14. Less GPU memory usage can be achieved by changing the max visibility configuration in ASP3D and LOD_RADIUS = 6.500000 in [TERRAIN] of Prepar3D.cfg. P3D 5 loads hundreds of km at 360 ° and is found if for example we fly to FL300 with default clear sky but with an ASP3D weather engine, in reality the real visibility is considerably less and we can also decide what is the maximum visibility in flight in case of clear sky. The test I did was to have changed the value of LOD_RADIUS = 3.500000 in [TERRAIN] of Prepar3D.cfg then P3D 5 has loaded less textures but more than enough to not have blurry textures with the 50 miles of max visibility configured on ASP3D - Options - Visibility options - Maximum surface visibility and Maximum upper.
