  1. Is that with the initial attached zip, extracted and put into Custom Scenery above Global Airports? Because i did that and only got the rust coloured ground with an imprint of Museum written on it. What is your scenery_packs layering with this added?
  2. Thanks. I was expecting to see what you see in your pic of the Museum. My misunderstanding. I was aware that you only removed the white building but your pic indicated it would then leave a space for the Orbx Museum to appear. I also meant for you to zip your installed KTMK file to see if it differed any way from the original zip you offered. Thanks for your efforts in trying to overcome this annoying anomaly. Let's hope the Devs get working on a fix having acknowledged the anomaly.
  3. Please be kind enough to check the zip file you attached. I have extracted it and installed as a standalone airport rather than in the default Global Airports, placed it above Global Airports but only get the rust coloured ground area where the museum should be and no 3d building.Would you attach your installed modified copy so I can see if I get a 3d building instead of just a ground texture
  4. @Nick Cooper Please label this as BUG Report TE Oregon, as it is not resolved. The museum does not appear but can do randomly but sitting on top of the white building as shown in numerous pics in above posts.
  5. @Tony Wroblewski Is it a TE Oregon issue or an Orbx Central problem? Initially I have the rust coloured building with Museum written on it in view but sitting on top of a default building, and then after Verifying Files I end up with just the default building?
  6. There is definitely some anomaly here. I see the rust coloured building with "Museum" written on it, BUT it appears to be sat on top of the white building that @Sentry11shows in his pic. My scenery_packs.ini is correctly layered. I then ran Verify Files for TE Oregon SD and got what you see in picture number 2. No rust coloured building but the default one with trees growing in it ! What buildings do you see @Nick Cooper or @Tony Wroblewski
  7. What is indicating that you are missing some custom buildings? What is the source of the info you have that for example Tillamook Air Museum is missing? @Tony Wroblewski Tony can you advise if there is a list of POI/custom buildings in Oregon SD. The OP says for example that some custom buildings are missing like Tillamook Air Museum, but I don't know if that building is actually modelled in Oregon SD. My assumption is that if you run Verify Files then any missing files like some custom buildings, would have been downloaded and installed. @BibimbapWhat is the size of your Oregon SD install folders? My copy reads: Custom= 2.02GB 2187 files, 48 folders Overlay= 1.53GB 6282 files 91 folders Orthos=54.8GB 50041 files, 5folders
  8. I have rearranged your scenerypacks.ini. I am unsure as to whether this rectifies your other problem of seeing only some of your custom buildings. scenery_packs.ini
  9. To answer your questions: 1. It should/could be below the EGCB_A_Barton_Manchester_City file, but doesn't have to be. The important aspect is that it is below EGCB_A_Barton_Manchester_City. In fact it is a file that you can remove and save a bit of space, because it is not required if you have TEGB Central, which you do, because all the overlay details are duplicated in TEGB Central. 2.LOWI B/C/D are placed by me in the position that I regard as the correct one in the SP.ini. Orbx Central installs in sequence below the two LOWI_A files. They are classed as 3rd party airports and therefore go above Global Airports. LOWI package is unique in that it also has a very large extended Ortho and Overlay area which does NOT just pertain to LOWI airport. A normal airport addon would not have an Overlay file as the objects would be contained within the Airport folder. So in essence with Orbx LOWI you 3 scenarios. One being the Airport/Heliport LOWI A's, then you have the Innsbruck, lets call it cityscape, and then you have an extended Ortho/Overlay area covering a very large extended area, a mini TE Region if you like. So LOWI is actually a 3- in -one Addon. So to conclude, I have put the LOWI files where i consider them to be properly placed. Orbx central disagrees with me, but then it also disagrees with the correct placing of Needles !! 3. Aerosoft-EGLL placement with the other Aerosoft airports is irrelevant. As long as it is above Global Airports it is in it's correct place. You can certainly move it to be next to your other Aerosofts should you wish but it has no bearing on performance, but uniformity only. 4. KMGM is in the freeware airports: see the extract from the SP I sent you. SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - EGLL Heathrow/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/a KMGM - Montgomery Regional Airport/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/LOWI Demo Area/ 5. Needles should be above Global Airports but every time Orbx central performs any significant function like adding a new scenery, it puts Needles below again. If you want to fly regularly to Needles heli landing area then place it above. I have moved it above in the attached SP, but be aware, it likes to wander back below Global Airports Hope the above clarifies things for you. sp.txt
  10. Hi and welcome to the Orbx forums. You don't get Aerosoft-Static Aircrafts with the default XP, so that must have come from one of your Aerosoft addons. You do get the other one's you mentioned. I will rework your scenery pack for you so make sure you keep a spare copy of it after you drop a copy into your Custom Scenery. One basic thing to remember and rearrange yourself it required is that several Obx addons like KVOU come with files labelled as A,B & C. It is best if they are grouped together in the SP.ini. The other basis rule of thumb is the layering should be as follows from top down: 3rd party airports and any associated additional files that are part of the Airport package ( as exampled with KVUO) Global Airports Obx TE addons (place London Landmarks just above the TE series if you have TEGB South) Landmarks (the rest of them like Washington etc) Scenery enhancement addons like sim heaven x-europe, San francisco cable cars and similar enhancements Ortho4xp or any other ortho souced (Forkboy US) Overlays Ortho files like you have placed correctly already Global type mesh like HD and UHD by Aipilot I have not moved the aerosoft mesh files for EDDM/EDDK/ENBR/ENGM/LIMJ because i don't have them personally but would ask you to move them yourself to underneath each relevant airport and test if there are any problems. Usually a mesh that comes with an airport only covers the airport boundary and therefore should have no impact at all on any other area, so logic assumes that the mesh file can sit just under the airport file in the SP.ini sp.txt

  12. @Tony Wroblewski @Jarrad Marshall Sorry to direct this at you Tony/Jarrad but there are now several comments regarding the lack of road traffic on the Orbx forums and we respectfully ask for a dev's response if possible. Is it something that can be rectified/added via any update/SP you may have in mind?
  13. It was mentioned as part of another post regarding LOWI,but I would like it to be a separate info request. There is no road traffic at all on the main sweeping hillside highway that runs alongside the airport leading to the ski jump. Any reason why? It's such a great looking road that needs traffic on it. I also have not seen the animated train action that ran alongside the airport in the P3D version. XP has had animated trains long before Orbx managed to create them for P3D but I have not seen one on that area of rail track. Other parts of the scenery have the trains running but I suspect those are XP generated and not Orbx's.
  14. @McCloud9 I have slightly revised your .ini to place KSEA Demo above Global Airports and the TE Washington files to allow the KSEA airport buildings etc to be visible. The rest of the .ini looks fine so i am not sure I can help. Your pic is not a good example because it is over an industrial type area and the ground detail is not visible enough. You need to be in a slightly more vegetative area to see the land and you will immediately see a difference between default and orthophoto ground textures. If your installation is complete and you still think you are seeing default scenery, then Verify the TE Washington files via FTX Central. But first go to a more rural area and check out the ground details. scenery_packs.ini

  16. @McCloud9 Hi. Your ini looks fine except your entry for Needles should be above Global Airports. Orbx installation puts it below Global Airports for some reason. Now as to why you are not seeing anything of the demo baffles me. I only have full versions of the TEGB series, you are saying that if you create a flight from EGHI Southampton, then you do not see the TEGB scenery but the default scenery? I also don't understand the option you state as "Expansion Packs" as I have never seen that. Is it something that comes with the demo? All I can suggest at the moment is that maybe you try using FTX Central to Verify the TEGB South Demo files to see if you are missing anything.
  17. As Fizzelle says, you need to send your .ini as an attachment because you have only shown a bit of it in your post and therefore it is not possible to comment regarding whether it is correctly layered or not.

  19. @Gedi You need to attach your scenery.ini rather than just list it. I will then be able to adjust a couple of things for you and return it. Regarding the pics you have submitted it would appear that you have your World Objects settings very low because you are missing lots of autogen and buildings etc. You need to set your World Objects to Max with TEGB. Looking at your fps reading of +50 fps it would indicate that your PC would be able to accommodate the additional maximum World Objects setting.
  20. Yes it looks fine but I would ask if you have the default XP11 file of London Landmarks? If so then place it just below Global Airports and above the Orbx TEGB entries. TEGB North has 2 Overlay folders. One is for the mainland and the other is a default overlay covering the part of Northern Ireland that is in TEGB North.

Just to be a bit tidier, you could move your other Landmarks below the True Earth layers but just leave the London landmarks where they are as in the example below: SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Global Airports/SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/KSEA Demo Area/SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/LOWI Demo Area/SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - London/SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_A_GB_South_TrueEarth_Custom/SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_B_GB_South_TrueEarth_Overlay/SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_C_GB_South_TrueEarth_Orthos/SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Sydney/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Chicago/SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Las Vegas/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Dubai/ If you are going to get Southampton then get it now while the sale is on. It will go above Global airports in the scenery,ini. Rule of thumb for the .ini is: Addon Airports Global Airports Sceneries like TEGB, Landmarks, Overlays(refers to Ortho4xp scenery) Libraries(of which you have non except maybe Orbx when your hassle is resolved) Orthophoto scenery (NOT Orbx but that made by you with Ortho4xp) Mesh (3rd party)
  22. Interesting and thanks for the insight. Will the South SP take care of the airport buildings removal via another substantial download of the product or will there be something in the SP that triggers the removal like via FTc Central?
