Hi, welcome to the forums
It seems by the below release announcement that Orbx has stepped up, and it also seems we are still waiting on the MS Marketplace to do the same.

Ok, could you please provide the info I asked for above.
-
Does it show the location?

Hi, welcome to the forums
Could you please provide coordinates with your screenshot from the Shift+Z keys so we have an idea where this is in the world?
Also, please post a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file and the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” file found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5.
Please note: Do not open the files and copy and paste the contents, just attach the files.

Hi
What is the location name you are referring to?
That file would be a Vector file that is not compatible with P3Dv5, besides, your install is not using Vector, so it would be of no use to your vanilla install with only Global Base.

I'm assuming the sim needed to close and reopen again to make the new change in the vegetation files??? Am I right on that
Yes that is correct.
-
Hi Dudley
Please Untick the “Dynamic 3D Autogen Vegetation” option in the P3D settings Options/World, then restart your sim.
-
Thanks
If you have a backup of Global base created by Orbx Central, you could delete it and try a verify files of Global base.
-
Hi
Have you tried your vanilla install with only Global base and no other addons installed? Keep in mind that Global base is not really an addon, but rather a default texture replacement, that has never in it's history caused any issues.
Also, do you have it installed in the simulator root folder, or an external library location?

Hi, welcome to the forums
Have you also tried it with the rolling cache deleted and turned off, and the photogrammetry turned off?

Hi Caleb
I would put the entire simulator and addons on the HDD, the SSD will fill up quickly with related files that you will not have a choice of where to install, and it would be nice and easy to update the OS and simulator separately, for example, if you ever need to format the SSD and reinstall the OS, you would not have to reinstall the simulator.

Surely, trying the flight with a different aircraft other than PMDG can't be that difficult?
-
Please try a different aircraft before you condemn the scenery, as there have not been any other reports of this issue with the scenery, and PMDG are very hard on VRAM.
-
Have you tried the same flight with a different aircraft?
-
Hi Ray
It seems to be not only known but a common issue that has nothing to do with Orbx products, I have linked below, a Google search for you to look at.

Hi
I would like to keep this thread going, so hopefully it can stay constructive and civil.

Hi
Also, please try deleting and turning off the rolling cache.

Hi, welcome to the forums
Which airports are you referring to please?
And, did you install them via Orbx Central or the MS Market place?
