Well - if its Uluru - a strange mural on the wall
I´d say: You got it. To my knowledge the airport is still named "Ayers Rock", though the namegiving monument is Uluru now. YAYE or Conellan would do as well.
Just another airport where the luggage carrousell can be reached directly from the landside.
John, do you have a new challenge for us?

Well its got to be Aussie - Regional - 2 in mind - mural clue says - Coffs Harbour ??
Ah, I see it is more difficult as expected… and not Coffs!

You get closer with these observations. But still one flight away (there are direct connections from Alice to here)…

Okay, here I found one. Taken before Covid. Taken on an airfield that can be purchased on OrbxDirect. Let´s see...

Good looking shots, but the Orbx scenery is so detailed and beautiful, why not do the same flight in stages piloting something lower and slower. My favorite aircraft is the DC3, but maybe that is because I am PR director for www.dc3airways.net.
Come and join us for good flights and good friends.
Sherm
Thanks Sherm. I can understand your passion for the DC-3, a great sound and quite some challenge managing the engine temperature. Manfred Jahn has done an incredible job.
Thinking of all the small airfields we have down that way... on my rig are West Wind, Israel´s Farm, Darrington, Concrete, Anacortes, Friday Harbour (and the entire island), Diamond Point, Sekiu, Olympic Field, Vashon, Wax Orchards, Bowerman, ... that could fill some time!

Ah, thanks for the info John. So my usage of that bus was not complete fiction!

Thank you Karl. I have to admit I am heading south actually - this is my first virtual trip to the US since November 2016 (guess the reason).

Hi Gerold,
Considering your love for the DC3, you will feel right at home with us at www.dc3airways.net

Thank you for your comment & suggestion Sherm.
In fact I vary my planes nearly between each and every flight, even between STRG-E planes for low&slow and study level planes. Means I do sightseeing just as often as "professional" appearance.

Nice view of your home turf, Don.

Maybe you can use this file, it can be imported into Plan-G:

There are so many Orbx pay- and freeware airports south of Vancouver. If I were to fly them all it´d probably take me until Christmas before I get to another country. So I chose an Alaskan airliner (Airbus? Do they use them?) ...
... to climb southwards...
... over the San Juan Islands, ...
... and looking back to Sidney BC.
Crossing the border and the channel towards Port Angeles and the Olympic mountains.
Lake Cushman to the left, ...
... and Bowerman to the right.
Soon we crossed Columbia River at Portland, leaving the volcanoes to port.
I like these evening views.
Mt. Shasta welcomes...
... in his glory, ...
... just before we arrive...
... in Redding, CA.-

This might be tricky. Interior of a well known Orbx airport. Having a closer look at the ads and signs might help.
So fantastic to see someone has put life back into this pre-Covid thread, Wolfgang. Many thanks!

You found a qualified hint, John. No doubt.
1 hour ago, Scott Harmes said:I think Greg has it. I see Inns' Bruck written on the wall. Is it written as two words? Is that the correct Austrian way to write it? Great pic, and a new take on this competition. I would like to see the interiors of many other airports, as it would currently be impossible in real life.
Now I see Inns´Bruck as well, and even more significant the newspaper rack "Tirol". Which makes it 100% clear.
Your idea to add interior photos of Orbx airports is a great modification as well - hope we could still guess ´em!

Great to see the fascinating architecture of Mumbai - and to get the option of moving around there without the notorious traffic jams.
Nevertheless Mumbai is incomplete without the life on the street, the masses of cars, rickshaws, bikes and all the pedestrians. Which would bring all computers to its knees...

So many greatly designed scenic places in such a close neighborhood in this area. And indeed, the DC-3 is cheaper in ground service use than these fancy mdern birds.

Thank you John, and we all enjoy the Mule Team adventures. Well, it is more adventurous for their passengers.
We got more and longer summer rain than ever in central Europe, and the american west coast seems to get hotter and dryer weather with more intense bushfires. It appears that the usual mixture has gone lost.

I think we can all come down with sim comparisons, mates:
- many of us are longing for OLC Asia for P3D (and I hope to see some news soon).
- many of us are longing for study-level planes for MSFS (what is not the issue of this thread).
And many wait for both, while enjoying what we have.

Ink was always dry when we needed the printer. So we changed to a cheap & wireless laser printer this summer. Experience & cost to be monitored...

For this flight out of squamish I took a plane which is the standard equipment of the airline I am talking about.
Not easy to get her airborne on the short runway, but a pleasure to fly over the scenery.
At the exit of Squamish´s channel there is Bowen Island. Does it have a connection to the family of @BradB John?
Soon after we spot Vancouver city ahead.
Lions Gate Bridge, even suited for Jack-style flying.
We head a little further eastwards, towards Pitt Meadows airfield, ...
... then we turn over the settlement of Clayton Heights, ...
... before we cross Langley BC. The home of @flyingleaf Karl, and the headquarter of Mule Team Airways.
From there it is just a short hop westwards along Hwy 91...
... to Vancouver airport. Not that the jetways would be fitting to the DC-3...-

I fear I am too serious to contribute in this thread. I play field hockey or run, in total at least 3 times a week. And I am thankful as long as this can be done without pain or injuries.
