Trees in the middle of airport ESGG Gothenburg
Nick Cooper replied to speedy2970's topic in General Discussion
Hello Howard, it wasn't designed to need photogrammetry, but it always needed Bing Imagery to be switched on. It is not alone in this, but anyone who runs MSFS without Bing imagery, might as well be back in FSX, so it's a non-issue. As you should be aware, every time Asobo produce a Simulator update, they change things, often without mentioning that they did and in any case without giving third party developers any notice. Immediately after SU 14, trees appeared where they shouldn't and the very next day, Marcus published an update to fix that. However, it needed photogrammetry to be switched on to work. Now, he is going to make another update that does not rely on photogrammetry to remove the trees. So you can see that the photogrammetry "issue" is not a design concept, but a necessary reaction to changes that were not forseen by anyone outside Asobo and not evident until they had been made. -
Trees in the middle of airport ESGG Gothenburg
Nick Cooper replied to speedy2970's topic in General Discussion
Hello, two posts above yours, the Orbx developer of an Orbx product has stated that he will "patch the trees issue". -
Hello, please click on the red "Deaktivieren" box opposite SODE. This will stop the automatic update. Then you can install the SODE version that you need over the one that you have. You will still need to ignore the SODE update message. That is a fault in Orbx Central for which I apologise.

Hello, if you can put that into a Support Ticket, I can pass that on to the correct person to deal with it. Thanks.

Hello, to cancel the job, please look at the Orbx Central downloader page and note the location of the temporary files folder. Close Orbx Central, go to that location and delete the Orbx folder that you will find there. For future reference, to send in a support ticket, go to the bottom of the Orbx Direct webpage and click on Support.

Nick Cooper replied to sagamol1956's topic in General Discussion
Hello, Orbx freeware AI aircraft installation disables the default AI aircraft traffic file. However,Orbx AI traffic only provides custom AI at Orbx airports. You are looking for trafficAircraft.bgl.DISABLED-FOR-FTX-AI -
Hello, it is a small error in the system. Apologies for the inconvenience and please ignore the update notification.

Hello, by default, Orbx Central is set to minimise to the taskbar. You should find an icon there, probably in the hidden icons box at the bottom right of your screen. -

I feel that your assumption is incorrect. -
Hello, the kml files are the ones given to the testers at the outset. They will therefore not necessarily be a true reflection of the finished product. I don't have any others. As is supposed to happen, the beta testers have pointed out anomalies and the developers have fixed them. There should not be any duplicates or conflicts in the simulator. I attach the same for EU GB Central and it comes with the same caveat.
