I'm hearing lots of bad reports at AVSIM re. performance, but here I am seeing a smooth 22fps with effects to be mentioned lower. It's perfect The following shots all have terrain and tree shadows ON, adding a real depth to the foliage. This brings my fps down to 18-20, still very flyable in the old Cub. No it's no NGX, but this is what basic flying is about, visual navigation and the breeze in your face: Here I have the sun down low so the tree shadows stand out. Bloody incredible! BradB Posted December 1, 2013 Share Posted December 1, 2013 Wise choice Simmo , hopefully soon they will have the Global patch out to fix some of the issues in 2.0 . I found on the other forum this topic on 2.0 settings . About half way down on page 2 are some very useful screen shots . http://forum.avsim.net/topic/427206-configuration-observations-and-tips/ .
