We shall follow the river as far as Lake Dardanelle. 1. Swinging round after take off from Two Rivers(far right) over Cammack Village to the west of Little Rock. 2. Looking down the Arkansas River with North Little Rock(L) and Little Rock®. 3. Shinall Mountain with the aerials of KTHV. 4. Beaverdam Island and Lake Maumelle in the distance. 5. Morrilton Municipal Airport. 6. Petit Jean State Park is over the river. 7. Petit Jean Mountain and Petit Jean Park Airport. 8. Lake Atkins glints in the morning sunshine. 9. The Russellville Nuclear Power plant. 10.London is to the left of the power station with Mount Nebo in the distance. 11. Lake Dardanelle and Interstate 40 are ahead. 12. Lake Dardanelle with l to r Spring Mountain, Dean Reid Knob, Carter Mountain and Huckleberry Mountain. Straight vees with minimal cropping as usual. EDIT: met a college kid in the airport bar a month or so back, said he had gone to school there. The locals call it "Russ-Vegas", since it is a pretty quiet little town.
