AndreaD
I just downloadaed and installed the latest orbxlibs but now I have problems selecting Oceania: it gives me an error when I click on Oceania, then I say Continue and it gives me another error; continu e and it complains that "Oceania data applied but with errors". And here is the error report: Apply region error report. benaldo972
Hello, I had the same problem after installing new ORBXLIB. In the E: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ Orbx \ Scripts \ Backup => you will find the missing files ... But I don't know if this is the correct procedure ... Normally, you will not have messages report! Now, when I select Oceania, I have an error message on E: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ Orbx \ Scripts \ FTXCentral \ Regions \ InsertOceani.png. FTX must close ... Thank you for your help Sorry for my poor english!

Ed Correia
Hi Andrea This is something that we are aware of. This report won't cause any issues with your setup. @benaldo972, you will need to put your order numbers in your signature, see here http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/1157-important-notice-please-add-your-order-to-your-sig-for-support/ Now, when I select Oceania, I have an error message on E: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ Orbx \ Scripts \ FTXCentral \ Regions \ InsertOceani.png. Mikymuc
Hello, I have a similar Problem, I installed FTX Global, but it did not appear in FTX Central (it still shows Default and Australia and North America), however when I go to the Tools and open the ORBX Products installed, it shows up. Also I had no errors during Installation. Then I tried to additionally install the patch 1.1, but then FTX Central does not even start, but shows an error (as I live in Germany it's of course in German but English it would be: Object reference not set to an instance of an object). I already searched the web and tried to install a fix from Microsoft, but it did not work. Can you help me?? I have a Win7 64bit environment, but extracted all files before installing and did that as Administrator, as suggested. Thanks, Michael
metalmike
I know this thread seems focused on Australia, but after cleaning out the HD and reinstalling Windows/FSX today, I did a fresh download and install of PNW. metalmike
So I also tried installing PFJ and NZSI. Same deals. This was the one after installing NZSI and then trying to switch to Oceania. Bear in mind, these aren't older install files, I just downloaded from FSS today so they should be all up to date: ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\FSX\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\BLDA2.dds'. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite) at System.IO.File.Copy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite) at FTXCentral.FTX_Environment.CopyBuildRestoreBat() at FTXCentral.FTX_Environment.ApplyRegionChanges() at FTXCentral.FTXC.Apply() at FTXCentral.FTXC.lblApplyButton_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Label.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- FTXCentral Assembly Version: 1.0.2.8 Win32 Version: 1.0.2.8 ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 8.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 8.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- Accessibility Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- System.Runtime.Remoting Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- kfdpyagc Assembly Version: 1.0.2.8 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 3.5.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.5.30729.4926 built by: NetFXw7 ---------------------------------------- smd3lfqc Assembly Version: 1.0.2.8 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. Holger Sandmann
Hi metalmike, installing the current Orbx Libraries from our support page should get rid of the error messages. Let us know if that works for you. Cheers, Holger
metalmike
Thanks Holger. That seemed to have fixed it. I originally thought for some reason the latest region downloads already included the latest Orbxlibs.
