I just downloadaed and installed the latest orbxlibs but now I have problems selecting Oceania: it gives me an error when I click on Oceania, then I say Continue and it gives me another error; continu e and it complains that "Oceania data applied but with errors". And here is the error report:

Apply region error report.

I also tried to revert to old faithful orbxlibs130723 to no avail: the error persists.

Hello,

I had the same problem after installing new ORBXLIB.

In the E: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ Orbx \ Scripts \ Backup => you will find the missing files ... But I don't know if this is the correct procedure ...

Normally, you will not have messages report!

Now, when I select Oceania, I have an error message on E: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ Orbx \ Scripts \ FTXCentral \ Regions \ InsertOceani.png. FTX  must close ...

Thank you for your help

Sorry for my poor english!

Hi Andrea

This is something that we are aware of. This report won't cause any issues with your setup.

@benaldo972, you will need to put your order numbers in your signature, see here http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/1157-important-notice-please-add-your-order-to-your-sig-for-support/

@BradB, are you fully patched up with AU&NZ?

I have AUSP04 with all of OZx and Ants plus the Orbx freeware airports . And of course stated with Holger mesh . I have no NZ of any kind right now on this

rig . Also have FTXG on rig also .

I have exactly the same errors, the missing png file when selecting the Australia and the missing files report as the first post. I have the FSX.

When i select the AU scenery after processing i get the same files error missing report but on the fsx\textures folder. With the activation of FTX Global, no errors.

I hope will be a fix soon for this. I notice that exist a png file with australia but with a different name "InsertAustralia.png". We need to rename it? and the other missing files? we need to recover them from the backup?

Waiting for Ed Correia reply.

Thanks!

Ed, is this the sort of matter that would indicate that we should wait for a newer version of the libraries?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike, this error only affected those that have Australia installed and did not have NZ.

A new version will be out this week, so yes, wait for that.

Ed,

I have just installed Northern Ireland, and FTX Central is now just showing "default" icon

and "EU" icon.  All the others have disappeared. I downloaded your zip file above and

placed it into the Script folder, but nothing happened.

I had Global and all the other regions in FTX Central before installing Ireland... any ideas?

All those with this issue,

please extract this file into the ORBX\Scripts\FTXCentral\Regions folder and let it overwrite. This is the SP4 version of the file.

attachicon.gifaustralia.zip

Ed,

I'm having the same error described in the first posts of this thread, but I don't have any AU payware regions installed.  I just have the Tasmania demo.  Is this still the right fix for me?

Hello,

I have a similar Problem, I installed FTX Global, but it did not appear in FTX Central (it still shows Default and Australia and North America), however when I go to the Tools and open the ORBX Products installed, it shows up. Also I had no errors during Installation.

Then I tried to additionally install the patch 1.1, but then FTX Central does not even start, but shows an error (as I live in Germany it's of course in German but English it would be: Object reference not set to an instance of an object).

I already searched the web and tried to install a fix from Microsoft, but it did not work.

Can you help me?? I have a Win7 64bit environment, but extracted all files before installing and did that as Administrator, as suggested.

Thanks,

Michael

  • 1 month later...

I know this thread seems focused on Australia, but after cleaning out the HD and reinstalling Windows/FSX today, I did a fresh download and install of PNW. Ran everything as Admin. When I go to FTXCentral and apply the North America region, I get the same "unhandled exception" error.

I have no other addons installed yet. Just vanilla FSX (yes, Acceleration/SP2).

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Looks like you had some sorta magic fix for Austrailia users. Anything for PNW? :D

So I also tried installing PFJ and NZSI. Same deals. This was the one after installing NZSI and then trying to switch to Oceania. Bear in mind, these aren't older install files, I just downloaded from FSS today so they should be all up to date:

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>
