chumley
Are the Airbridges moveable and, if so, how are they moved to the arriving aircraft? Thanks
boetie
From memory I think it's Ctrl + J
chumley
Tried Ctrl+J but no action. That certainly is the correct combination for the default bridges but not, apparently, for YBBN.
Reachva
It also is dependent upon the aircrafts exit config. Most third party add-ons are missing the 'exits' section which jetways use to connect to the aircraft. It is a relatively simple fix however. Dean (PC Aviator)
And its also possible that not every bridge will move. Even in the default airports, only some of the bridges are functional.
rockliffe
For what it's worth Andy, I've never been able to get airbridges working at any of the Orbx airports. That doesn't mean some of them don't, it just means I've never been able to get any working either
Graham Eccleston
All the airbridges at both YBBN and YMML are set up to work but unfortunately, some work better than others. As stated above, your aircraft config file must have the appropriate 'Exits' data entered (sample below) plus you need to ensure your 'Advanced Animations' option is selected in FSX. You also need to be patient as some of these airbridges are veeeery slow. Sample aircraft.cfg entry for the DJC Airbus A320:- [exits] number_of_exits = 3 exit.0 = 0.4, 40.50, -6.0, 6.5, 0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency) exit.1 = 0.4, -23.50, 5.85, 0.0, 1 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency) exit.2 = 0.4, 29.90, 6.0, 1.0, 2 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
