Sure is... http://www.nearmap.c...=k&nmd=20111024 Seasonal rivers in Northern Oz, like the Todd in Alice, often have gum trees right in the middle of them. Can look a bit odd when there's water in the river though! Of course, there's rarel.y ever water in the Todd... for the uninitiated I suggest you check out Alice Springs' premier event, The Henley-on-Todd Regatta.
