TigerTigerM
I have my fingers crossed WU12 with the Orbx Caribou will be released today, [2/23/2023], as I am looking forward to taking the DHC-4 out & about. I have been watching real life videos of the Caribou's STOL performance & wonder if the 'reverse prop/reverse thrust' feature has been included in the aircraft's build? Nick Cooper
Hello, one would certainly hope so but the project has been kept from the general Orbx staff, so all we know is what has been released to the public. At least, if it is released today, we will not have long to wait to find out. It is definitely possible to do it, the PMDG DC6 has it and will even taxi backwards, like the real thing. (Nothing to do with the Caribou but this next one is my favourite DC 6 clip.) 2

pilot100
Caribu apparently does have reverse pitch props according to the msfs description.

Rodger Pettichord
Is the Caribou compatible with P3D4? The old FSX Virtavia one is not--a real loss!
Nick Cooper
Hello Rodger, no, just MSFS and only for sale in-game.

TigerTigerM
From the early reviews & Forum posts, excellent work is being acknowledged. Jonathan Beckett has just put a First Look up on YouTube. VC is stunning. An Analogue instrument fans dream Once the day is organized, I will be purchasing it. Was it put together by aircraft specialists within the Orbx team, or 3rd party aircraft specialists sub contracting to Orbx?? TTM
fjacobsen
Not sure if bug reports belong here, but it seems like Orbx are the developers... The GNS 430 is not working properly, though the panel.cfg includes the Working Title 430. The NAV Frequency only shows 0.0 / 0.0 When entering a flightplan with Departure and Arrival Airports, the GPS don´t show the distance or Dep/Arr Airports on the first NAv page. Selecting GPS as Nav source does not make the OBI or Compass needles indicate direction or xtrack error. Also the Needle(s) in the gauge with the DME readout seems inop (the gauge to the right of the lower push buttons and indicator light for Nav source).
