Rodger Pettichord
Sorry to post this simple question here, but there have been no answers to the question via the P3D4 Support Forum, so here you go. I bought True Earth for Washington, Oregon, and California in P3D4 (Thanks for the March sale, Orbx!). When I try to install, I get an error message saying I have other products that must be uninstalled first. Which products would that be. I have only Orbx scenery: Global, Vector, the LC set, and the enhanced regionals. Help? Thanks.
olderndirt
You mention you have the older FTX regionals for P3D - could they be a conflict with the True Earth sceneries of similar names?
Scott Harmes
Hi Rodger, Can you post a screenshot of the error message. It's strange because every time I have encountered this the error message names the conflicting scenery. The original NA regions and TE regions can usually be installed at the same time, so I don't think that's the issue.
Ben McClintock
It should (hopefully) be mentioned somewhere, but freeware Portland Cityscape is an antirequisite of TrueEarth US Oregon. You'll need to uninstall that to install TE Oregon.
Rodger Pettichord
Thanks, guys. I did find a small-print note near the error notice that identified the free Portland demo as the culprit. I deleted the demo and no problem after that. Now I'll see if I can find the small print for the California pair
