NZMS Masterton to NZLE Lake Station/Nelson Lake

Distance

 

Time and date: own discretion.

Weather: no winds, clouds own discretion.

Climb: average 120 kts true airspeed, climb rate: average 800ft/min.

Cruise: average 150 kts true airspeed.

Decent: average 140 kts true airspeed. Decent rate: average 600ft/min.

Approach: average 110 kts true airspeed.

 

Depature NZMS

Start the time when departing from rwy 24, follow runway heading for 3 nm, start climb to 6500 ft

To NDB PP

Overhead waypoint 1 turn heading 259°M to NDB PP 242.0.

27 nm

To NDB NL

Overhead NDB PP turn left heading 178°M to NDB NL 358.0

Decent in time to overfly NDB NL at 2000 ft

T&G NZWN

Approach starts NDB NL at 2000 ft, turn heading 235°M to intercept ILS/DME IEB 110.30 /161°M for a T&G on rwy 16

After T&G follow runway heading for 3 nm and start climb to 3500 ft
