kutak
Hi, I am not sure if Orbx scenery is able to fix it but Localizer for LOC DME East approach is not 4° offset from runway 26 ceterline but in runway course. This typical approach for Innsbruck is broken here. Thank you Tomas

kutak
it seems like general bug.. there is no airport with correct LOC offset... Tivat is the same issue
wolfko
@Jon Clarke @kutak In my installation of Orbx LOWI the LOC is offset as it should be. Edit: No, sorry, it is offset to the wrong heading. Rwy heading is 259°, LOC should be 255°, in the sim the LOC heading is approx 263°. kutak
haha yes you are right... offset course is to opposite direction as it should be... Tivat asiport is the same
kutak
I found the problem... it is autopilot / avionics of MSFS bug not the scenery... CRS is automaticaly set to runway heading when localizer is recieving and unable to reselect correct inbound course which is offset to rwy heading... this leads fly in runway heading paralel to runway to the LOC antena... KDalley
I've filed a report to MSFS via Zendesk - however Orbx should also follow this problem through with Asobo/ MSFS since there is no mention of this error when using Orbx LOWI at the point of sale. Nick Cooper
Hello, it seems clear from the reply above yours that the error is in the simulator.
KDalley
I would have thought however that since Orbx are selling this product not as a stand alone, as a product that can only be used on msfs then Orbx does have some responsibility joint with Asobo and Microsoft to work together with the latter so that the Orbx product can be used properly in flight simulation. If not then the information should be given to the prospective purchaser that for whatever reason the product cannot be used for simulation of a LOC DME 26 approach at LOWI … if not then my faith in Orbx products has just taken a knock and I’m not a new customer.
