There is a known bug where if you hit the V key to bring up the 'Map', CTD. Work around on other aircraft is to mouse click the map in the top of the screen menu Items row - not the CJ4 it appears - this time, CTD Pity, as the CJ4 was flying nicely after I tweaked a few flight_config settings.
