MaSi
something new after installing HF2: regards Marek
PropJob
That seems to be a reported Enhanced Atmospherics (beta) issue. It should disappear with EA turned off. As will the more realistic haze unfortunately.
pmb
Such cases have been reported in several places. I saw several tress sticking out of the dust around KSFO, which is definitely a new "feature" of HFII. And yes, it's with EA on. Kind regards, Michael
MaSi
I saw number of similar issues but with objects visible thru EA. Had this part of LOWI scenery modeled as object and "glued" to terrain surface or is it terrain with different kind of texture? Kindly regards Marek
PFS
Hmmm... I just tested this out. P3Dv5 with Hotfix 2, and with EA on... And I don't have that visual anomaly. -Paul
Nick Cooper
Hello, I expect that you may do if you go further away. The problem seems to be that some things are able to appear through the haze but you need to be far enough away for there to be haze first. PFS
Thanks, Nick. Yup, I moved my aircraft further away, and at 5,000+ altitude... and now I see the anomaly. :-)
Marcus P
So what is the outcome now? Is there gonna be a fix and if yes, who is delivering this? Orbx or LM? Any feedback is appreciated. Regards Marcus
Jarrad Marshall
Hi guys, This is an issue from LM's side that we expect will be addressed in a future HF. In the mean time, I've posted instructions on how to temporarily solve the issue here: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/196268-strange-mountain-textures-in-lowi-when-using-truesky/?do=findComment&comment=1683949
