Lepres
Just bought the AYPY and it looks awesome. Trying to fly to those small airstrips but could not locate them in fsx map. Are they not supposed to show up on map like other airports. Hard to locate them in the mountains without any map or guide.
ftxpolo
Some images from user guide and a useful link to "assigned " a ICAO code to airstrips (freeware by A. Lepres
Tks ftxpolo. Puzzled that the developer did not incude these airports in the map. Wd like to take off from these, rather than having to fly into the region from main airports.

In my side, I use this option, which allows me to start my flights at any airstrip and at the same time allows to be recognised by the GPS for navigation. https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=194081
Stewart Hobson
Guys, The object was to allow the user to find the airports by exploring the region and finding the airports by looking for 'em. Later, I believe a map was made available to make the search easier. Stew
Lepres
Thanks ftxpolo. I am also thinking of getting Tapini, is there a similar utility for that also?
boetie
Half the fun is trying to find the airstrips/dirt tracks. And the other half is trying to perform a successful landing. I still haven't had 100% success in either. Cheers Graeme

This package already comes with each of its airstrips with its identification included, which allows you to start your flights on each of them. Lepres
Thanks. I was trying to locate them on Google map but can’t find them. Are these airstrips real existing ones in the real world?
TerribleT
All of Orbx's airstrips in both packages exist in RL - they are modeled excellently well for the time frame in which the sceneries were developed.
