Strange textures both day and night

Hi I have recently reinstalled P3D and upon reinstalling the ORBX base and Open LC EU I have noticed these odd textures. Firstly at nightas they're more obvious but at day they are also visible. It's as if the default is bleeding through. I have tried regenerating the terrain.cfg, reinstallling, verifying the files and resyncing the simulator with no joy. Please see the screenshots: Sorry if this as been answered before, I had a look around but, just as I have vaguely named it others will have too. It is hard to name what the issue consequently, hard for me to search for it. Thanks

Hi

Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date, and I would do a verify files of them from within Orbx Central.

I would then go to settings/help and run the Sync Simulator function first.

Then you can go to settings/Insertion Point and set them like this.

Ensure all of your 3rd party non Orbx addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries.

Then in Orbx Central Insertion points "Orbx Airports and Regions”, put your last non Orbx 3rd party listed in your scenery library addon in the INSERTED BELOW window.

Then for the "Orbx Global openLC” ensure the Orbx Airports and Regions are in the INSERTED BELOW window.

They're installed and up to date - I have re-verified them.

I've synced the sim

All the scenery library options are as you suggested and I have cnfirmed that in sim the order matches and looks correct.

Thanks for the suggestions @Doug Sawatzky however I'm still having the issues see here an image from the southern coastline to the Bristol channel near EXMOR on the EXMO1X out of Bristol. It's as if default is somehow managing to find a way to bleed through?

Thanks

Got it.  Maybe that was what my error was.  But since it's currently working for me, I don't want to change back to the new ORBX Central.

I have never experimented putting ORBX outside of the root folder. Still had these issues.

Hi, Doug.  This is the first I've heard of this.  I don't seem to see these problems, yet I have both Open LC NA and Open LC EU installed in a library external to the P3D root folder, another drive altogether, in fact.  Global Base, however, is installed in the ORBX folder located in the P3D root folder (where it should be, at last count), along with Orbx Libs and Vector.  What do you think, is this arrangement ok, or should the Orbx Libs be placed in the external library along with all the rest of the Orbx sceneries, along with the Open LC NA and EU?  If it's not broken, don't fix it, I've always thought.

I've just realised that because I'm using FTX central I can't install the newer sceneries such as Edinburgh? It's a little disappointing because despite having many issues with ORBX Central (issues for which I have had minimal support from ORBX) reverting to FTX central which works now means I can't install some sceneries?

I'm worried if I upgrade to central again I will be back at square one. And, after it requiring many hours of reinstalling and deleting things including the sim itself I really don't want to face that again.

Thanks

I found that when I open and use C4 it changes my ORBX scenery order but not my other scenery, this causes issues with textures in the sim, but I now correct the scenery order manually with addon organizer and that solves the problem, why is it reshuffling the scenery order Like this.

All the base and OLC have been moved above the airports and regions.

this corrects the issue after manually moving the files.

Are you using the insertion point tool in Orbx Central to properly set the order?

Yes as C3 below my addons it stay between the top of the sim base scenery and below my addons but changes the order of ORBX scenery every time you use C4.

This I found was the cause for me with night textures showing on day scenery as P3Dv4.5HF was loading the airports then the base scenery, and even caused elevation issues at some airports.

This is the ORBX scenery order priority adjusted be me, that works for me verifying files did not correct the issue or reinstalling.
