Father/son - Malcom and Donald Campbell held world water speed records here Lady Windermere - I was one of her fans. Crommack Water and Buttermere behind (Martyn - several responses here). Derwentwater, town of Keswick and small mountain Skiddaw, Thirlmere - try that on your next sobriety test. My favorite - Ullswater where Wordsworth and his daughter 'wandered' and saw the daffodils.
