olderndirt Posted September 17, 2019 Share Posted September 17, 2019 You always come back. Todays's trip from Dundee over to Perth and up to Inverness. Climbing westbound over the Firth of Tay. Dundee was named as one of five "hotspots" by Wall Street Journal so something good must be happening. Perth, an early capitol of Scotland, was the crowning place of Kings and center of government. Terrain begins to rise northbound. Now it's downright craggy - Cairngorms? Inverness - another historic place. King Macbeth, of Shakespeare notoriety, had his castle here and, like Richard III of England, was not as described by the 'Bard'. On right base for runway 23 at the Inverness Airport.
