On this Dec. 21st it’s a bit misty around Tofino, but I was told that the weather will get better, when I am further away from the west coast Approaching Alberni I just love when you have crossed the mountains and are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Strait of Georgia Close to Comox And on to Campbell River The Mooney is really fast, so I have to throttle her back quite a bit It’s cold outside, so let’s go and try to get a “Glühwein”, which can be for many Germans a favourite drink during this time of the year. It’s a concoction of hot red wine (yes, you read that correctly) with sugar, honey, some herbs and sometimes other alcoholic extras. Rum, I have been told, can be one part of it. Does it taste well?
