  1. Hi can anyone help. Sorry if this should be posted somewhere else. I had p3d v4 installed on my D: drive, something went wrong and I ended up uninstalling off this drive. On the reinstall it ended up on C: drive, reinstalled Orbx BASE Pack VECTOR open LC Europe,Mesh South America, North America Regions England Scotland Iceland Demo Pacific Northwest Demo The Pics show what I'm seeing. Something somewhere has become corrupt in the install, I think. Any advise will be welcomed
  2. I've had this happen with PSP as well. I don't have Orbx global but I do have many of the regions (including Socal) so I should have all the libraries etc Any ideas? missingpagopago by ryan b, on Flickr
  3. Cessna C208B Grand Caravan, in the colors of PH-JAS, one of the Grand Caravans used by Tessel Air from the island of Texel in the Netherlands. It is mainly used as a skydiving aircraft with the Paracentrum Texel. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
  4. Well decided to take a Beaver Turbo 750 SHP to fly these canyons and the river opened up again so it will be a float landing. Enjoy
  5. Been away for a little bit, and was longing for some old-fashioned PNW beauty. Mission accomplished.
  6. Texel De Kooy Den Helder USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) stranded on Noorderhaaks, also called Razende Bol an uninhabited Dutch island in the North Sea, a few kilometres west of the Marsdiep which separates the island of Texel from the mainland of the Netherlands. (Den Helder)

  8. The whether is getting warmer 13 degrees. A lot of clouds but some great scenery on the way 658 miles from El Calafate Argentina to Puerto Montt Chile. https://i.imgur.com/rvqWhhp.jpg https://i.imgur.com/caCYjqk.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Qwwuvd2.jpg https://i.imgur.com/u5nVB8I.jpg https://i.imgur.com/MQKAlLj.jpg https://i.imgur.com/88DDTtf.jpg https://i.imgur.com/IEbLBZz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/CF515pk.jpg https://i.imgur.com/hY0ecFV.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Oj9Ctoy.jpg https://i.imgur.com/f6S3tZA.jpg https://i.imgur.com/DGIdkOr.jpg https://i.imgur.com/5981A6v.jpg

  12. As many of you know, I live a stone's throw from Tacoma Narrows Airport (KTIW). Well, there are a couple of guys that have one of the larger hangars, and they also own a killer collection of aircraft, It's called the Point Fosdick Antique Airplane Hangar...check it out HERE. My favorite plane in their collection is the Waco YMF-5. So I drug the Alabeo version out of the back of the virtual hangar, and took her on a short hop over to Vashon Island. Enjoy! ...and here's the real deal:
  13. A cold trek from Tacoma Narrows (KTIW) to Orcas Island (KORS). KTIW is a stone's throw from Casa Del Chunk, and I hope ORBX will give it the full airport treatment one day. In the A2A V-Tail, and I used the RNAV 34 approach with the help of the GTN 750. Enjoy!
  14. Part 2 - From Rogue Valley International - Medford Airport (KMFR) to Tacoma Narrows (KTIW) Holding short at the KMFR active. It's going to be an IFR day. Up at 6500', and out of the muck. However, the turbulence is going to make me lose the chicken fried steak from this morning... And up to 9500', above a blanket of white, and no bumping around. There are a few breaks in the clouds as we head north through Oregon. The sun, the moon, and the star of the show. It finally clears up a little, and we're directly over downtown Portland. The Columbia River in all of its majesty. There's a sight I'll never tire of looking at, Mt. Rainier. And you can barely make out Mt. St. Helens, covered in clouds. Descending back into the muck. I'll check in on the other side. Out of it and headed towards Vashon Island. There's Gig Harbor. I think I can see my house from here. The Port of Tacoma off to our left. On final at KTIW. Finally parked and chocked up. Time for a beer, or four or five, at the Hub airport restaurant. Thanks for flying along with me!
  15. So...I wanted to do a cross-country from the old homestead to the new, and I used the A2A V-Tail to do it. Made it a two day trip because I was just too tired last night. Waiting to go at KSQL (San Carlos) Holding short. A dawn departure is a beautiful thing. Looking south towards San Jose, and you can see the runway lights from Moffett Field at the low right. Sunrise over the City by the Bay. There's Redding (KRDD)...one of my favorite ORBX add-ons. And there's the Sundial Bridge out of the pilot storm window. Crossing Lake Shasta, which looks fuller here than in real life at the moment. And there's Mt. Shasta in the distance. The mountain and Black Butte inching ever so close. They're almost as pretty as they are in person. I had planned this to be done as one flight, but like I said, I was getting tired. So I found Rogue Valley International - Medford Airport (KMFR) in the GTN 750 and dialed in my approach to call it a day. Parked and chocked at KMFR, we'll finish this flight tomorrow. Part 2 posting shortly...
  16. A decently long cross-country from Tacoma Narrows (KTIW) to Glacier Park Intl. (KGPI). It went by in a flash in the Turbine Duke as I was showing 318 kts along the ground, at 23,000 feet. Good lord this baby cooks!!! The dual GTN 750's guided me through the muck for an LNAV approach to runway 02. Enjoy.
  17. As the title says, a fabulously fun flight into Big Bear.
  18. Back in the A2A V-Tail, from Redding to Blue Canyon!
  19. Added the Vertx Diamond DA62 to the hangar, and wanted a decent cross-country flight to break her in. Decided to pay @Rodger Pettichord a visit at Felts Field. The weather was not ideal in Gig Harbor, broke out of the clouds while en route, then got socked in real good at Felts. I think this aircraft is fantastic, but I have got to learn the G1000 or it's not going to be an aircraft I'll use all too often. It's much easier to dial up a flightplan with the GTN750 in my V-Tail. Sitting at KTIW (Tacoma-Narrows Airport). Wheels up, and man is it cloudy! She's a real beauty inside, and that G1000 can do more than this pilot can throw at it. Some clearing as we climb towards 14,500 feet. Now we're on top of it, and Mt. Rainier is poking her head up through the clouds. This aircraft is really drop dead gorgeous! Those clouds are blanketing the western part of Washington. Hello there moon. It starts to break up as we get east of the Cascades. ORBX really nailed it with the PNW region. Look at those lines...Rodger is so gonna want a ride in this thing. Very short final after breaking through the low clouds. I can't get enough of the art deco styling of this airport. Alright Rodger, Border Patrol said we have Carte Blanche to do whatever we please.
  20. I have done this trip many times in the sim and it is always a pleasure to enjoy the superb scenery. On this Dec. 21st it’s a bit misty around Tofino, but I was told that the weather will get better, when I am further away from the west coast Approaching Alberni I just love when you have crossed the mountains and are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Strait of Georgia Close to Comox And on to Campbell River The Mooney is really fast, so I have to throttle her back quite a bit It’s cold outside, so let’s go and try to get a “Glühwein”, which can be for many Germans a favourite drink during this time of the year. It’s a concoction of hot red wine (yes, you read that correctly) with sugar, honey, some herbs and sometimes other alcoholic extras. Rum, I have been told, can be one part of it. Does it taste well? Hell yes, otherwise we wouldn’t drink it. Four, five glasses and you are done for the day
