Bruce R Posted June 21, 2018 Share Posted June 21, 2018 A 25 mile hop from YRED to YCDR. ORBX freeware Redcliff and ORBX Caloundra, flying over ORBX Australia. I was actually on holiday in Australia a couple of months ago and visited both Redcliff and Caloundra. Caloundra's a really nice place. Flying the Alabeo Waco. Parked up on the "Reserved" spot at Redcliff getting ready to go. Not sure who they guy was waving at but it wasn't me. Had to poke my head out the side to see where I was going On our way and climbing out low and slow I've forgotten what those hills are called - but they do have a name. Caloundra and a beat-up of the city centre. The airport is just at the tip of the lower left wing on the second shot below Coming in on finals Can't see a thing over that nose ... I'll ask these guys over here. Not sure what, but I'll think of something. I don't think Cub that's going anywhere in a hurry.
