Anthin Delahunt Posted March 16, 2018 Share Posted March 16, 2018 Well,my hard drive fried itself.Lost just about everything.The tech has installed a new drive but has made some big mistakes. When I get the basics all fixed I will have to start downloading all my files again. I don't know if I will reinstall fsx gold or others. I hope I will still be able to access all my downloads when I get a sim up and running. Any ideas welcome. On top of all the nasties that has happened to me this was almost too much. Anthin. I agree with Ken, buy the Academic licence of P3d v4 and all your Orbx purchases will be available in FTX Central to download for no extra fee. You will still have the joy of having to download everything again but nothing can change that. I made the switch last year and am slowly refilling my hanger. Get Prepar3d v4, it is seriously worth it, just be careful if you have only fsx off some products, such as the majestic dash8, you will have to purchase to upgrade to 64bit.
