They can be a lot of work. How I do it is two-fold. When I'm out hiking I'm always thinking of a scene I'd like to put Fred in. Then I create the comic and place dialog. Usually I have an idea before I start then I go to the sim and will take maybe 100 shots just to use six or so. Sometimes they write themselves, it's just my way to be creative. It's kind of like making a movie. They can take up to a week to finish sometimes too. As for flying in the Orbx world, I love Australia, I just bought maybe 17 Orbx airports and I'm discovering how beautiful it is. So I like to explore. But my problem is I see so many nice shots of exotic locations I have a "to fly" list. Oh, and I don't work so I have a little more time.
