VHOJT
Hi all, Is this issue still affecting others, even with Holger's fix in this thread? Cheers, Rudy
molleh
Yes it is. Some areas were fixed but others still exist. Would really like a proper fix for this for we P3D users.
Jethro VH-JET
Hello Rudy, I suppose AU Seasonal water bodies anomaly applies to P3Dv3.4 as well as P3Dv2. Did you try both items mentioned in Holger's posts, (Experimenting with the season & date - post ID:22) and the (64mb archive D/L post ID:26). ID:22 - http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/94541-some-really-loopy-landclass-in-the-centre-of-australia/?do=findComment&comment=859095 ID:26 - http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/94541-some-really-loopy-landclass-in-the-centre-of-australia/?do=findComment&comment=859339 You could always go back to the superior "imho" FSX:MS DeluxeGold / AccPack / DX9 where the AU seasonal water bodies are wonderful and shapely and everything just works. I meant, just in case it is not the same issue that others are experiencing, all texture anomalies are not caused by the same thing but may appear similar. This is a very visual hobby that others benefit greatly from seeing others screenshots instead of assuming it is the same

Holger Sandmann
Hi guys, turns out there's indeed an issue with the previous version of the work-around texture package: I wasn't aware that some file names had changed during the "migration" to the unified landclass control file. Please use the new texture archive instead from this post: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/94541-some-really-loopy-landclass-in-the-centre-of-australia/?do=findComment&comment=1167555 If you already have the previous version of that texture pack installed just copy these new ones over top, no need to edit or re-install anything first. Ron Attwood
Well I'll darned! I have just finished with a flight around Leonora (Jeez it's bleak round there!) and I saw acres of those textures. "What now?!" I thought. Off I went to the scenery library, all looked good there. Then I had a brainwave. (Oo, that had to hurt) Season was on summer, turned it back to spring and hey presto! Turned it back to summer and it was still good. That's what I've been doing with my evening... EDIT: Re-flew Leonora and what a difference! I used the link to Holger's fix. Thanks Holger. VHOJT
Wow! What a response! Cheers for all the help guys. Doug, I can give some screenshots if needed - but they are the same problem as in Joe L's post. Before that, I'll try Holger's updated fix! Thanks very much, Holger I still am amazed at how good Oz looks thanks to you guys. Thanks for the prompt reply and support! Cheers, Rudy
