What an amazing person. He was lucky to have escaped Stalingrad, I wonder just how many great minds like this we have needlessly lost in conflict over the years. If you were able to read German, wikipedia would offer you a long story. He was brave enough to leave the Hitlerjugend, later he served as a plane mechanic in WW2. that´s how he came to Stalingrad. And this little post made us remember him - and all thouse brave souls who gave their lives in senseless massacres. That´s what simming is made for (not...)!
