dominique
There was some interest, these recent days, for the L-39 and also the F-100 in the screenshot forum. Cleaning some archives this evening, I found a hard print of a great article published quite a while ago (I'd say at least 12 years ago) by Dudley Henriques that most of you have heard of. Fortunately, it also exists a copy on the web . Here it is (with Mr Henriques authorization) : http://people.aapt.net.au/~miltonreid/ng/dudley.html It is short, not too technical and gives an excellent overview of flying a high powered machine and great tips. It takes as examples the 104 and T38 but even if the L-39 does not play in the same league, most of what he wrote can help you, guys. It did help me ... In a nutshell flying them in the sim is not overly difficult but you have to forget most of what you know about flying pistons.
Jack Sawyer
Great article! Dudley has helped me a few times, he sure knows his stuff. It was so cool to take to an actual, real life Mustang pilot! Thanks for this Dominique!
dominique
He was also a test pilot for the T38, he knows his way around jets too ! Glad if it could help !
