Is that really necessary?

Just a 10-minute hop between the diamond mines to pick up the executives and continue to Yellowknife. The landing was neat but suddenly I felt a strong crosswind that requied tremendous left rudder and right aileron inputs. However, when rolling down the runway, I couldn't hold the DC-3 on muddy center line as it started circling around the right wheel, when I noticed the right engine failed and wouldn't restart. Hence, after a while on the runway, we shut down the left engine and were pulled over to the ramp.

Many thanks for looking at this mishap of mine KDK! I'm a little ashamed that I didn't spot the cause of this failure as I did not just pretend of tune for it - at least the tanks were half-full at that point...
