Bermuda425 Posted October 12, 2016 Share Posted October 12, 2016 Just a 10-minute hop between the diamond mines to pick up the executives and continue to Yellowknife. The landing was neat but suddenly I felt a strong crosswind that requied tremendous left rudder and right aileron inputs. However, when rolling down the runway, I couldn't hold the DC-3 on muddy center line as it started circling around the right wheel, when I noticed the right engine failed and wouldn't restart. Hence, after a while on the runway, we shut down the left engine and were pulled over to the ramp.
