  1. @paulk - Thanks for you trying to help - however I found that this problem is basic in T/Master sicks - Airbus and T16000

which I also had. Multiple YT videos had many examples of how to correct but way too complicated in my 89 Y/O mind

    or even  patience

Sooh I took the easy path - and bought a new Logitech T56👏

Anybody want 2 free broken T/Masters sticks = postage only :D

John - just to confirm its the Airbus Thrust Master TCA Side Stick I have, so think its the same as yours.

See link below, for the fix I carried out - no issues ever since:

    Good Luck.

Thanks Paul - I'll give it a whirl🤞 -but my  engineering degree is design - not practical:D

  3. Over the last 2 months - my rudders have developed the shudders - and I have tried all I know to stop it

Maybe I should change that to twitters in that I get a constant twitch - mainly to the left and in flight the a/c is all over the place

I use the tmstr 16000 set - and also tried the airbus 360 stick - using the twist rudder - and with the pedal's setup as Tmstr rules using the

TMC throttle as the mother - and also without - using direct USB for the pedals. Drivers are up to date

I thought that this was an MSFS problem - but it also occurs in DCS

It also flickers in the Control panel set up - and although I have tried a deadzone of 15% - it still flicks outside that:banghead:

I get by in GA aircraft by using the auto pilot - but I like to fly warbirds most of the time.

Any suggestions ?? -  maybe a reasonably priced alternative ??

  4. We have thought for a while that Orbx have been playing around in DCS - this proves it  - and could be very logical with Orbx's experience

    in scenery production.

However - Orbx marketing department have not won any marks from this announcement - judging by the remarks on the subject

below the video -or lack of substance

When will they learn that we don't like teasers - esp 16 second ones

Phew! - what a choice - bin thur-  dunn that ! - so many memories and difficult choice - 18 years from apprentice to manager

at my Alma Mata employer for 18 years - 2 years national service with a most diverse bunch of blokes in Cyprus - however

as an apprentice - I went 1 day a week to my local tech. who were forming a new Rugby Union Team and my tenure with that

team lasted until I cracked my ankle at 34 - and took up sailing racing dinghies. We took that club from a small college team

to a full blown club in the North of England - with our own 3 pitch grounds and a modern clubhouse and training facilities.

I think I am the last surviving original member - and feel sad when I look at the old photos - and know all my mates are dead.:(

I had to look up the meaning of "chastised".😀

And the forum's spell check doesn't seem to know the word either. 😄

That confirms the topic's title is right.

PS: Edit because of bad grammar and spelling.

"Maybe you should have looked a little further" - consider your self - "Chastised"

    chastised

In English, many past and present participles of verbs can be used as adjectives. Some of these examples may show the adjective use.

In both cases, modernist music is chastised for the bias of its critical representations.
Her "vanity" in wanting independence is chastised through a marriage based on her dependency.
The father was chastised by the court for taking his daughter as a 'commodity to be owned' rather than as a person and as an individual.
Other demographic considerations aside, we felt ourselves minorities,

I deliberately misspelt the word - and wha"da know - spell check corrected it;)

  7. Recent question on payware / freeware aircraft prompted me to try to clear out of my hangar of a raft of a/cs I never used.

I tried the sim to remove them but couldn't find how to delete - so I just used Explorer and got rid of the junk that way.

    When I next loaded MS - I got a mandatory update of 20GB - so I should have known:rolleyes:

every aircraft was back in the hangar- after a slow download !!  :banghead::banghead::banghead:

  8. I suppose if I was to stock take my Hangars - I would find 90% pay ware inc. default -and a few vintage FW aircraft

but when it comes to using them - I only use pay ware - and only about 25% of what I have bought over the years of MSFS.

When I use P3D or XP11 - which is very rare - I only use pay ware- because that's the reason I would use those sims

i.e. aircraft I can't get in MSFS. but would repurchase them if someone would offer them for sale e.g mainly Piper singles and twins

    and an F50 Dassault.

  9. I assume that Orbx will announce this sometime but a heads up in that NZA have issued the update all have waited for

Installation is a little extended for old minds like mine - but the results are magnificent as in the scenery it depics

  10. There are many times I miss Renault on here with his tips on picture quality - combining colour with clarity.

As a colourblind person - what I see in colour is probably different to most of you especially with the Ground browns and green

of the scenery as we fly in VFR - but it tends to blur the quality of the textures and makes me play around with all the tweaks available

to us with the PC / Video cards - especially - SHARPENING - tone - B+C  etc - to the point of frustration.:banghead:

Today I came across this bloke -  https://youtu.be/_GnbudEoqpM - who I have been following- to try to improve what I see on my screen -

and this is what he came up with today - Eyes or Camera ?? - and I cannot ignore the logic of what he says.

I.E. - The only tweaking one can do with the focus of one's eyes - is to wear glasses - with photography/camera manipulation

    - we call it sharpening.

Which company was that John? I have found huge differences in insurance cost between companies - however that is only for house / car .etc.

    Brian

principally NRMA - my usual car etc - but I did a comparison with not a lot of difference.

All though it was in Ossie waters - the cruise was classified as overseas - hence the large premium to cover anywhere in the World
