Yes having the same problem. However it's not Orbx EGLC per-say which is the issue. It appears to be Orbx London Landmarks. I tried EGLC on it's own and loading into that airport was fine, but EGLC and London landmarks and it crashes. But here's the odd thing. if you fly from an airport outside London I.e. Southend or even the one closer say at Ruislip then London Landmarks loads fine, it's just loading in using London Landmarks when flying from EGLC that causes the crash. Delete London Landmarks for now and you'll be fine.

Cityscape Sydney MSFS Update.
dtrjones replied to Iain Emms's topic in Orbx Preview Announcements, Screenshots and Videos
It's already in today's development update, so I'm expecting it to be in the store soon if it's not in already. https://www.flightsimulator.com/july-15th-2021-development-update/ -
Yes a hearty congratulations to Cloudsurf Asia for this really nice addon to MSFS. For such a big airport you've added so much detail and the Jewel building is a wonderful show-off feature of this airport which as it deserves looks fantastic at night. The city scenery looks great too but there might be some competition around - still I think your city night lighting looks better!

Yep I'll vote for those two, but after these screenshots I want a London 2.0 haha! Hong Kong is already available from Samscene but I have to say I was a little dissappointed - I do think the base MSFS scenery doesn't help, it's a very challenging area to get right with the topology and buildings, not an easy task but I'm sure somebody will step up to the plate do this city justice.

Regarding Landmark London City, I noticed the release notes for 1.1.0 has been released on the Marketplace but the product itself is still at 1.0.1 because the sim needs updating - which I've tried to do to no avail. I have no idea what's going on, hopefully somebody will sort it.

Yeah it's been 6 weeks now LOL. Sydney was released on the 8th of October. Not sure Orbx can do anything - they confirmed the files was submitted to Microsoft on the 12th October. I'm going to propose this to MS in there next Dev Q and A. I really don't know whats going on there, Dundee which looks fantastic by the way! was released by Orbx on the 14th of November and in less than a week it's on the Microsoft Marketplace (anounced today).

I certainly hope London gets a little upgrade . This is clearly a step up from the London scenery and it would be a shame that we don't have a HD pack for example. Great work on Sydney citiscape and just think of all the cites in the world that could do with this level of detail. Orbx certainly have enough work to do and you'll know they'll do it because as I've found out in London MSFS is by far the best showcase for these cities in any Flight simulator. Magical stuff Orbx.

Hi Orbx I have to say your update to London was very timely and welcome! I've seen and read a lot about some of the quality of the London assets and I guess what puzzles me is that they seem to be placeholders as the Tower of London for example looks a lot different to the much higher quality versions in P3D and X-Plane. I don't think it's fair to compare with the Asobo POI's when you are adding 400 assets into London! Anyway the feel of London is there and it looks amazing at times. Good job and I look forward to seeing some of the assets improved when time permits.
