Thank you everyone. "Atlantic City" is a song written and recorded by Bruce Springsteen, which first appeared on Springsteen's 1982 solo album Nebraska. The first line, "They blew up the Chicken Man in Philly last night," was taken from a newspaper article about a mob hit in Atlantic City. The "Chicken Man" was Phil Testa, number two man in the Philadelphia Mob under Angelo Bruno. After Bruno was murdered in his car, Testa was blown up by a bomb placed under his front porch. These hits were orchestrated by Nicky Scarfo, who took over the Philly boys so he could control the new Atlantic City gambling rackets. He made such a mess of things that he and most of his crew were either murdered or incarcerated within a few years. I played a cover by The Band in another post.

Honestly one of the best vocal performances from Bruce. His voice has become so much more resonant and expressive as he's gotten older, well done! The Commodore's would be proud. Purple rain - Wow, this is incredibly special what an amazing tribute to Prince from Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band . Guitar solo is mind blowing as well from Niles Lofgren

Peanut butter and cherry jam or peanut butter and a banana. Sometimes just a tablespoon or two of peanut butter. π I've been known to have all three.π -
