  1. Late summer here in NZ, but I'm wondering if spring has "sprung" in the UK! Here's the Flying Iron MkIX Spitfire over Gloucestershire: I'd love to enter this last one in the comp, but I suspect it doesn't show quite enough Orbx (UK Central) scenery Adam.
  2. One would have thought that deleting it from Conernt Manager would automatically set the flag in content.xml to false - but not true!! Thanks for the tip!
  3. Thanks - I've already installed the update - but I'm still not sure whether it's recommended to remove the Asobo YSSY content. Would an Orbx dev care to advise? Also - what's the easiest/safest way to disable it? Just *delete it* from Content Manager? I've done that in the past for LOWI - and it just goes into the "Not Installed" section.
  4. I have Orbx/Fly Tampa's YSSY (airport) - but not Orbx Cityscape. Should I be disabling/removing Asobo's YSSY (airport)?
  5. Well (Nick?) .. I think we can safely put this one to bed now ... IMHO I don't think it's anything whatsoever to do with Orbx - or the Orbx Wu7 AUS addon. Here's what I think to be a quite reasonable/acceptable PG view (at around 2,000ft): Zoomed in, we can see PG at its worst - but, as Jon has already pointed out, it's not really designed to be looked at this close: If you don't get bandwidth issues, you should see views like this: Without PG, that canopy of the railway station is totally flat. With PG, it's quite an improvement, IMHO. Diversion over - I'm off to explore Sydney!!!!
  6. That's pretty well what I'm seeing, John. Also - my original screenshots are totally wrong - as I hadn't enabled WU7 from Marketplace. I had thought the original mega-download would have enabled it by default. I wonder how many other people got caught out by that one, LOL! I don't remember needing to have to do that extra step in the past. I'll post some updated shots soon, I hope.
  7. Aaaaah! You never said you were using the Orbx Melbourne City Pack!!!! No wonder mine looks different to yours (as I don't have it).
  8. I use the Google Map Tiles Replacement tool: https://flightsim.to/file/19345/msfs-2020-google-map-replacement As far as I could see, photogrammetry was working fine - but it was *not* the Bing version. I'll try another session without running the tool.
  9. Maybe it's a server/bandwidth problem - and that the Asobo servers are currently under heavy load with WU7. It may just sort itself out later on. One thing to try is to set a Data Rolling Cache - which could maybe take some load off scenery tiles downloads, so hopefully freeing up some bandwidth for the photogrammetry. I'll give Melbourne a test flight to see what I see! Looks fine here!
  10. My vote goes to ydelta - London Police patrol passing Canary Wharf on its way to City airport.
  11. My word - there's stiff competition this month!! Here's mine - Hurricane over Gloucestershire (MSFS):
  12. I'm going for VH-WCE's amazing cloud shot! Not an aircraft in sight either!!!!
  13. I thought I'd get mine in early for once!!! Asobo T-6 near NZQN - Orbx NZ mesh. Adam.
  14. I'm enjoying Auckland Landmarks greatly - but have spotted a small bug. Not exactly a show-stopper, but it'd nice to have it fixed along with any other updates: This only happens at the NORTHERN end of the bridge, where northbound traffic drops down - to what may be a default Asobo route (or the elevation is wrong). Nice to have both NZ and Maori flags there! Adam.
  15. Great shots indeed! Orbx mesh plus the Asobo texture tiles certainly make NZ an attractive place to fly!!
  16. Any chance of an official Orbx-type-person enlightening us as to whether there's a possibility this might happen? A bit late for me, but there's already two posts above that say they much prefer that route. I can't say I blame them. Other than the fact you might get a little extra control, Orbx Central has grown into a fantastic little application that makes spending yet more money a doddle, LOL! As to the "Tante-Ju" - I can see why it's become such an iconic aircraft (in RL). For me, only the DC-3 comes that close ... though the more recent C-130 is also a contender! Thanks also for the nice comments. I really enjoyed flying the Ju52, taking the shots, then posting them. If anyone else appreciates them, then it's the icing on the cake!
  17. I held back on acquiring the MSFS Ju52 as I hate anything to do with Marketplace. Token resistance, though, as it wasn't too expensive - and it's such a *classic* aircraft. Well ... I'm glad I caved in, as this is probably the best aircraft for MSFS I own. They really pulled out the stops on this one. The attention to detail is mind-boggling - I dread to think how many man-hours went into this!! Anyway ... here's my maiden/test flight - at LOWI: I just missed the deadline to enter this for the screencomp - maybe next month! A stunning VC (in historic or modern/restored flavours): Finals ... A different session: Adam.
  18. Oooohh ... I do so miss my venerable old C-130 in MSFS!!!! I think the C-130 made Captain Sim's fortune. Some say it was all downhill after that, LOL!
