  1. A grand shot. Best aircraft out there - and definitely the best livery for it! The "Pacific Wave" has always been my favourite - as I hate the black and white abominations that followed. To me, NZ is all about blue (sky), green (land) and white (clouds) - not some unimaginate choice of a non-colour just because a rugby team uses it. Rant over! Anyway - you beat me to it ... I have a massive hoard of screenshots featuring the ATR over NZ still to post ... incoming !!!! Adam.
  2. My vote goes to Renault - unusual as there's no aircraft in sight!
  3. Regarding the reverser - my workaround is this (I have a Saitek X56): 1) In the EFB, do *not* have the reverser mapped to the axis. 2) Map a button to the F2 key (I have it set to my throttle slider via Axis and Ohs). I find it a lot easier to not have the reverser on the throttle axis as I was always engaging reversers when trying to idle (on the ground). Once in flight, you can always pull the ground idle lever to stop you going past that detent..
  4. What contoller have you got? I struggled for *ages* trying to get reversers to work correctly. I'll post my workaround soon - after a few more tests. Thanks for the nice comments, folks!
  5. Yes ... this is a REAL livery! Over Wales - Orbx UK South: Adam.
  6. I've always loved the ATR (Flight1 for P3D) - and much prefer it to the excessively "pointy" Dash-8. I think the ATR is elegant and graceful. The new MSFS ATR (though cheap) is touted as a "study aircraft". That seems to have upset a fair few people, but I genuinely think it *is*. There's an awful lot of functionality "under the hood". As there's no documentation (as yet) you'll need to grab a few YT videos - some of which are in great depth and well presented. So ... here are the results of a few sessions - over New Zealand and the UK: MSFS excels with these ground textures: Near Mount Cook: Auckland CBD in the mist (with the City Pack update): Guernsey to Cornwall: It take a little time to get familiar with the ATR, but it's a hugely rewarding addon - well worth the price, IMHO. Adam.
  7. Thanks, gents - plenty more where these came from!!!
  8. Just a couple of Caribous ... Wot no choo-choo?? The iconic Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle line: Leafy greens (REX Accuseason) - could be anywhere - but I think it was Gloucestershire: Adam.
  9. For all its frustrations, MSFS often stuns with its visuals. Here's a jaunt somewhere near the Mach Loop - North Wales. "Miss Demeanour" (yes - that's a REAL livery - I've seen it in RL)!! Half a dozen Harrier shots (!): Adamski.
  10. Regardless of which sim it is ... it's a trenendous shot!
  11. Wow!!! Great shot -- a comp entry for sure!!!
  12. Not sure how this one got to fly over NZWP (Whenuapai) - but let's hope the Real Thing can be rebuilt somehow (along with the rest of Ukraine, I hope). Another wayward Eastern European - this time over S.Yorkshire: Both pics are from MSFS. Adam.
  13. Great to see some XPlane shots appearing here! Would be nice to see them in the monthly comp as well!
  14. My vote goes to Bluebear - and the interior NZMC shot. Not because it's NZ - but because I had no idea it was that detailed (having only txied around outside)!
  15. Camouflaged Wilga near Queenstown - Orbx NZ Mesh (MSFS):
  16. Congrats to both!!! Both are stunning shots - hard to choose a winner between them if it came to a decider!
  17. Things must be bad if you can't get on your PC :((( ... hope you feel better - get better soon!
  18. I tried NZQN with WU12 and NZ Mesh. No obvious spikes, but I did get narrow black lines appearing at the junctions of the tiles as I approached them. They'd disappear once you pass over them. I cleared my rolling cache before that session, so maybe it was rebuilding it. I'll give it another go with multiple flights in the same session to see if they persist.
  19. I've not run MSFS with NZ Mesh since I updated to WU12/NZ. Did you spot any problems/glitches when run together?
